Joining the International Standards Group (ISG)
Who Can Join?
Any company or organization interested in the technical development of ISG benchmarks is welcome to join. You must pay the membership fees, be willing to abide by SPEC's bylaws, the Fair Use Rules , the Guidelines for Handling SPEC Information, and ISG's Policies and Procedures.
Organizations listed on the U.S. Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) Entity List are no longer restricted from licensing, obtaining, updates, or participating in the development of the SPEC SERT suite within the SPEC International Standards Group (ISG). More about U.S. BIS Regulation and the ISG.

What are the Benefits of Membership?
Members are entitled to
- Licensed copies of all released ISG benchmarks
- Access to the SPEC ISG intranet site and benchmarks in development.
- Opportunity to influence standards-related benchmark development via active participation.
- Propose/champion new standards-related benchmarks and initiatives.
What are the Membership Fees?

Who do I contact?
If you would like to join ISG, please complete the membership application form and email to membership@spec.org. The application will be submitted for review by SPEC’s Board of Directors, a process that typically takes approximately 21 days. Upon completion of the review, staff will notify you of your application status and provide the next steps.
Options for dues payment are by check in U.S. Dollars, by credit card, or by bank transfer.
