The OpenGL Performance Characterization (OPC) project group has completed a new version of Viewperf and is proposing four new viewsets for which results will be published in the near future. In addition, numbers are being reported in this publication for a new version of the CDRS viewset.

The proposed viewsets are based on three modeling, rendering and animation sequences from Wavefront Technologies and Alias Research, and rendering and animation scenes from Lightscape Technologies software that features radiosity lighting effects.

If the new viewsets are approved, there will be seven viewsets available for reporting under Viewperf.
