SPEC CPU 2017 Flag Description for ASRockRack System
- Precision Boost Overdrive:
-
The Precision Boost Overdrive (PBO) is a way to automatically run the processor core faster than the marked frequency. The processor must be working in the power, temperature, and specification limits of the thermal design power (TDP). This results in increased performance of both single and multithreaded applications.
- Disabled: Disable Precision Boost Overdrive support.
- Enabled: Enable Precision Boost Overdrive support.
- Auto (Default setting): Use default value for Precision Boost Overdrive support.
- Manual: User can set customized Precision Boost Overdrive function setting.
Current setting is Auto
- SMT Control
-
SMT is a technology that allows a single physical CPU core to run multiple threads simultaneously. This improves efficiency and performance in multithreaded workloads by utilizing idle execution units within a core
- Disabled: Disable SMT function.
- Auto (Default setting): Use default setting for SMT function Enabled.
Current setting is Auto
- SoC/Uncore OC Mode
-
Forces CPU SoC/uncore components(e.g. Infinity Fabric, memory, and integrated graphics) to run at their maximum specified frequency at all times. May improve performance at the expense of idle power savings.
- Auto (Default setting): Use default setting for SoC/Uncore OC Mode.
- Disabled: Disable SoC/Uncore OC Mode.
- Enabled: Enable SoC/Uncore OC Mode.
Current setting is Enabled
